Meet the Artists
Michele Allen Fulkerson
My name is Michele Allen Fulkerson. I am an artist currently working in the medium of paint and photography. I am working on my MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art & Design with a focus on Self-Portraiture. Pivoting recently to a full time art student, I have opened Gallery 163 in Port Orford, as my studio and space in which to exhibit my work alongside emerging artists along the Southern Oregon Coast and the Pacific Northwest.
Having worked as a gallerist and serving on the council of an art museum, my love for art reaches beyond the brush and lens to the physical space, where people can view art, talk about art and enjoy the visual experience that art has to offer.
Much of my work is figurative, with a career spanning decades as a movement and wellness educator, I view the body as a wellspring of creative expression, a philosophy that informs and enriches my artistic endeavors.

As I approach my next venture, pursuing my PhD in visual studies, the rich landscape and natural surroundings of the Oregon coast feed my senses and emerge in my artistic practice.

Jeannette Noga
My name is Gabrielle Jeannette Noga, I go by jeannette. I am an Artist of many mediums ranging anywhere from textile arts to stop motion animation. I love all things old and am deeply inspired by traditional crafts of all backgrounds and cultures, PARTICULARLY weaving and beadwork. Painting and drawing were my first loves. i regularly have vivid dreams, a family trait, and draw from them. Travel has always been a muse. I have been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit internationally and in the States, both alone and with My Husband.
I am the namesake of my Grandmother Jeannette and my Grandfather Anthony was an accomplished artist. i sign my paintings with the last name “Longo” in his same style to honor him. Longo is in my blood and it is my history.
I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and i feel an immense gratitude for our adventurous life together and his support, and for the support, love and unyielding encouragement of my friends and family. I’m always looking forward to travel and in the meantime I’m happy and thankful to be creating amidst the trees of a small town .
